Our hearts go out to one and all impacted by this massive storm. Despite the chaos, we are heartened by the messages of hope we have received from friends and family up and down the East Coast; the small acts of kindness, the good meals shared in the flickering candlelight with loved ones and strangers, the surprising gifts left on doorsteps.
While CulinaryCorps is not equippped to be first responders in a disaster like this one, now that the water has receded we are speaking with local project partners to Ray Ban outlet discuss the potential of a trip to the New York/New Jersey region. Before we mobilize a team, however, we want to be certain we are bringing resources into the community and not in any way depleting them. We hope we can find a way in the coming days/weeks to assist with the massive clean-up effort underway be it with our food, our time, or our funding.
